to the girls down south

The Dalton girls Shana, Tamara, Tammy and Lacey drove up to Chattanooga for a girls lunch date. We had a wonderful time. While I do not get to see these girls very often I just love them to death. Each one is as sweet as pie! This is Shana's daughter, Sara Kate and Tammy's daughters, Ella and Maddie. Three precious girls. What wonderful role models they portrayed for Miss Ada Bug. A delightful lunch at Blue Plate was wrapped up with delicious ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. Highlight of the day: Sara Kate decided a little brown present stuck to the table outside looked better than the ice cream her mama just got for her and preceded to eat it. Her mom, Shana, explained just because something may look like chocolate doesn't always mean it is. While the mommies finished up their ice cream the girls played in the field next to the creamery. I hope they did not find any more "chocolate"!

Thank you for coming up and saying hello!

P.S. Rumor has it, Maddie has renamed one of her dolls Ada. How sweet is that?

We had an awesome time! We definitely need to do it again. Maddie is taking good care of her little Ada, and checks your blog often to see what's going on with yours! :)

Oh what cutie pies! And I think you mean Cold Stone Creamery... not "Stone Cold." I believe that is a wrestler.

Amy, thanks for the correction. I am not a wrestling fan so I definitely would not want to go see Stone Cold.

Brittany,

We're just getting back and I'm finally able to check the blogs....I've been having twitches for 2 days now. Anyway, we had a fabulous time too. It dawned on me after I left that I didn't get one single picture of the sweetie-pie we went to meet.......I'm a true blonde (I just have to work harder now that I'm older). Oh well, I guess that assures another lunch date.....or better yet, dinner with the kids and our guys! Sounds fun!
